Sweet 16

We've had a fun time following the "Jimmer Show"/BYU basketball team this year. I think one of my favorite things about this whole crazy season is the fact that Parker became a "true" fan. After each game he would break down all the "cool" plays for me....he and Links spend hours shooting hoops...and he talks about when he plays for BYU, "When I play for BYU I'm going to wear the number 32 and break Jimmers record." I love it when kids have dreams!

We had a TRUE BLUE celebration over at my parents house for the Florida/BYU game tonight. Tiffanie & Mark cooked up the best barbecue rib dinner and Derric baked blue mint "Y" brownies for dessert. We cheered our hearts out but BYU still came up a little short in OT. As sad as we still are about the outcome, we can't help but be proud over the year the Cougars and Jimmer have had. That sounds kind of silly.....as though I played some role in the Cougars success!! haha! GO COUGARS!!!
