My sweet little Lincoln has had an on and off year at preschool. It's been an adjustment for him to have to leave mom every morning. It took about two months before he would go with the carpool and even after that he was always a little hesitant each morning. He loved Mrs. Olsen and the friends he made at school but...he was mom's little buddy! Graduation....they had practiced this cute little program for a good month. Mrs. Olsen gave Lincoln some of the bigger parts because he was so enthusiastic and said he was one of the loudest singers. He was sooo excited to go. He even picked out his outfit a few days before. The min. we walk through the gate to the back yard he is clinging to my leg saying he does not want to do this. So...after begging, prodding, and bribing him, I was ready to let him just sit back and watch with me. Mrs. Olsen wanted him in it. This meant that I was also in it! I am now in everyones photos and videos....so sorry to those parents! Overall, I feel like I did a great job in the program and Lincoln was not scarred from it in any way....as soon as it was over he was eating the refreshments and playing with his friends!

"The Bethlehem innkeeper never got a second chance to house the holy family, but those who seek to follow the babe born in his stable will not only make room for Christ, they will emulate his light, his love and his care for others." "Life's busyness requires a conscious, committed effort to bring Christ into our homes and lives. And while opportunities to give of self are limitless, they are also perishable. There are hearts to gladden. There are kind words to say. There are gifts to be given. There are deeds to be done. There are souls to be saved." "Those who take the time to seek out those in need emulate Christ. As we do serve him, we will not forfeit our opportunity, as did the innkeeper of old-to make time for him in our lives and room for him in our hearts."-Pres.Thomas S. Monson
